Sewing Swap - What I Made

I recently participated in a sewing swap on EB. It was a great swap as each person listed three or four things that they would love to receive. My partner had a bag as one of her options. So I decided to be brave and go for it! Here is how it turned out :)

I made the bag for Mel who showcases her stunning work over here. Being a mum to 6 children, she very understandably hasn't gotten around to blogging just yet. Mel, when you do, please include a photo of the entire bag because in my haste to send it to you, I forgot to take one. Derr!

I should add, I learnt a lot making this bag. I used Pellon for the first time, I did pleats for the first time. I did a zipped pocket for the second time, though I did this one differently to the one I did in this bag. Oh, and can you tell I love that fabric! It is just divine. I think I have just about enough left to make me a bag too :)
